Jewelry and cash were taken along with the dog from a home on Tiffany's Lane in Taylorsville. According to officials, the robbers pried open the door to the home and entered between 6:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Alexander County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the dog and returning it to its owners.
